Spider-Man: No Way Home is About to Beat James Cameron's Avatar

Everyone knows at this point that Spider-Man: No Way Home was the best Spider-Man movie ever. Hell, it's one of the best movies ever, if you ask me. It was just so much fun and left a smile on my face from beginning to end. Well, except for that one big death... that part nearly had me in tears. Anyway, needless to say, people have been loving Spider-Man: No Way Home. So much so that it's been dominating the box office week after week. It actually stayed at the top for several weeks, though funnily enough Jackass Forever ended up taking it down. That's seriously funny. Now, Spider-Man: No Way Home is about to hit another crazy milestone. Spider-Man: No Way Home may be about to beat Avatar at the domestic box office.

Spider-Man: No Way Home is sitting at about $749 million as of Sunday. This is for movie theatres across the United States, by the way. This means that Spider-Man: No Way Home is $800,000 away from matching Avatar. I don't know if you guys have noticed, but the hype for Spider-Man: No Way Home doesn't seem to be slowing down quite yet. That means that by next Sunday we should see Spider-Man: No Way Home having surpassed James Cameron's Avatar! And you can bet I'll be sharing it here on Multiversal News when it finally does happen!

The movie's been a huge commercial success, but Sony is so proud of its film that they are putting it forward to be considered for an Academy Award. That's some seriously awesome stuff. Spider-Man is already dominating video games and movies so I don't see why he shouldn't be able to dominate the Academy Awards too! Especially since they'll have to contend with not just one, but three Spideys! That's gotta be more Spider-Men than they can handle. They might as well just fork over all the awards right now.

What do you guys think? Did you enjoy Spider-Man: No Way Home? Come tell me on the Multiversal News social media, which are all linked at the very, very bottom of this page!
