We've finally gotten a really good look at The Flash film, and the rumors were true! It looks as crazy as everyone expected! It features Michael Keaton's Batman, a brand new Supergirl, and the return of Zod!
The Flash got its first big trailer during the 2023 Superbowl, and believe it or not... people really liked it! Now, that's not to say it is universally loved but the reactions have been positive thus far!
This is surprising, especially since people were willing to hate it because Ezra Miller is still attached. The baffling decisions of DC recently could have also contributed to some ill will thrown toward The Flash.
I'm a huge DC fan and I've been dreading the release of The Flash. Not for any particular reason, my hopes just weren't very high. With that being said, I'm one of the people who loved the trailer. I can't wait to see the new Supergirl, and Michael Keaton suit up.
He is Batman, after all!
But you know what's really awesome? The brand-new character posters that DC released to go with the brand-new trailer! They give us a really, really awesome look at the three main heroes of the film.
As you can see, there's one for each of the heroes featured in the trailer! Though, I guess Ben Affleck didn't need one. All joking aside, the posters are beautiful. I'm most excited to see this new, unique iteration of Supergirl. I'm sure Sasha Calle is going to do an awesome job portraying the Girl of Steel!
The Flash is running into theaters on June 16, 2023.
