Gotham Knights has gone gold! The news was shared via the official Gotham Knights Twitter account, along with an awesome photo showcasing the team. The people who worked on the game must be excited, with such an important milestone in the bag. That wasn't the only Tweet shared today via the Gotham Knights Twitter! They also revealed some gameplay for Red Hood, which features his move set.
In the short video you can see Red Hood eject off of his bike and grapple up high. We see him use his special powers for some traversal before ambushing a thug from above. He takes him down rather brutally by bashing him in the head with his dual-pistols. The rest of the video consists of him taking down a small group of criminals. He slides around, shoots them. There's a sick part where he reloads and takes someone down at the same time. He also freezes an enemy at some point! What's that about?
Here's the video so you guys can check it out for yourselves!
All-in-all the gameplay looked awesome, if a bit slow. I'm still confident the game is going to be amazing. I don't care what anyone says, it's still my most anticipated game of the year!
This isn't the first snippet of gameplay we've seen. Especially recently! We've gotten four trailers featuring each of the titular Gotham Knights. Not to mention we got to see Batgirl in action. IGN revealed the first sixteen minutes of gameplay which featured Batgirl dealing with some thugs. It looked pretty awesome, if you ask me!
For those who can't get enough of Gotham Knights there's even a hard cover, collector's edition compendium book releasing on the same day as the game. The book is admittedly gorgeous, and would look great next to anyone else's DC collection.
Gotham Knights is releasing on October 25th, 2022. You'll be able to get it on Playstation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
