Captain Carter Spotted In Doctor Strange Teaser

It looks like Captain Carter is in Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness. The newest teaser for the next Doctor Strange film was posted earlier on Thursday, and some eagle-eyed fans caught some things. Okay, I guess it wasn't necessarily easy to miss, but still! That teaser trailer I'm talking about sees what is unmistakably Captain Carter's shield, and it looks like she's about to fight Scarlet Witch. That means we're likely about to see Captain Carter go up against the Scarlet Witch when we get to see the film next week.

That wasn't the only cameo we were able to spot in the teaser though. Patrick Stewart's Professor X was unmistakable, but we've known about his inclusion for a while. We also saw a Captain Marvel variant, played by Lashana Lynch who was Maria Rambeau in the Captain Marvel film. It really makes you think about what else the film is waiting to reveal. After all, these are all the things that Marvel is showing up, and they're usually pretty tight-lipped. These must all be some of the smaller cameos, which only makes me more excited to see what the big ones are going to be.

Haley Atwell's Captain Carter first showed up in Marvel's What If...? the animated series on Disney+. The show appeared to be an anthology series, and it mostly was, except it turned into so much more. Not only did we see some truly awesome alternate universes, but it also put its cards on the table in the final episode, bringing a lot of those storylines together. Marvel's What If...? has also been confirmed for a season 2.

With only about a week until Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness hits theaters, it's time to get excited. I'll see you guys in the theaters next week, on May 6.
