Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man
Andrew Garfield Would Lie All Over Again About Spider-Man Appearance

Remember when we all basically knew who would be appearing in Spider-Man: No Way Home? Come on, it was no secret Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield would appear, it was obvious. The idea of them bringing back the villains but not the heroes, with the Multiverse looming closer? There was no chance, in my opinion. I can't speak for the rest of the world but I never once doubted that we'd see three live-action Spider-Men on screen. Andrew Garfield sure didn't want us to know, though! He lied to us at every turn, and he revealed he'd do it again! Andrew Garfield enjoyed lying to all of us!

Okay, so it's not really as bad as it sounds, but I had to get you in here somehow, didn't I?

During the time leading up to the release of Spider-Man: No Way Home Andrew Garfield just happened to be promoting his work on something else. With all the rumors flying around, and trust me there were a lot of them, the subject came up a few times. You can't blame the interviewers for trying to get him to slip up about his return to tights. He never caved in though, unlike Alfred Molina who just blurted out he was Doc Ock in No Way Home.

During an interview with The View they broached the subject of his lying, to which Garfield simply confirmed he would do it all again. When pressed for answers on putting the suit on for another return he didn't have much to say other than his reputation is ruined. It's true, we'll probably never believe him again!

This is no surprise though since Marvel and Disney are extremely secretive about their projects. They don't like having things out there until they're good and ready. For what it's worth there have been rumors of Andrew Garfield returning once more to fight Venom!

Spider-Man: No Way Home is available now on DVD and BluRay
