I've made no secret of the fact that I really miss Supergirl. Melissa Benoist was an amazing Supergirl in my opinion. I'll admit the show wasn't always the best, and even I, a mega Supergirl fan, had my fair share of issues with the series. That never stopped me from enjoying it though. Without Supergirl, we lost a cornerstone of the Arrowverse. It was, however, Kara's time to move on, and as far as I'm concerned The CW delivered on Supergirl's ending. But... I will say her absence in Superman And Lois is a little strange. They haven't even mentioned her, which is incredibly odd. I want her to show up eventually, I mean... her cousin needs her! I'm not the only one who wants her back either, so it seems. Tyler Hoechlin wants Supergirl in a crossover as well, appearing on Superman And Lois!
Tyler Hoechlin spoke with ComicBook.com recently, where he revealed that he'd love to have Supergirl on for a crossover! So just like the fans who want to see the Kryptonian cousins reunite in the Arrowverse. I highly recommend checking the actual article out over on ComicBook.com
Here's what Hoechlin said in the interview with ComicBook.com
"I'm such great friends with all those people. We obviously, especially with COVID these last two years, have not been able to see each other as much as we would like to, but they're just such great people. Having them around in any capacity is always great. So if we can find a way to make that work, that'd be awesome. It's just a treat to be able to share the stage with them or share a coffee with them. It's all the same to me. We have a really great time together. So hopefully, we'll be that lucky."
Now, of course, this quote refers to the entire cast of Supergirl. If Kara were to make an appearance I'd love to see the rest of the Supergirl cast as well. With Lex Luthor seemingly gone, potentially for good, perhaps bringing Lena in could be an interesting way to have a Luthor appear. Especially during a crossover where literally anything can happen. Will any of this actually happen though? I don't know, but hey, I can hope can't I? I'd also be super stoked if Jon Cryer returned to reprise his role as Lex Luthor. He was, in my opinion, the best live-action Lex!
Superman And Lois airs on Tuesdays on The CW, though it's on a break for the next couple of weeks. The next episode, which we posted a preview for earlier today, will air on February 22nd!
