She-Hulk: Attorney At Law has been nothing but pure fun since it started airing! Tatiana Maslany was born to be She-Hulk, and fans are still eagerly awaiting the upcoming Dardevil (Charlie Cox) cameo. We've at least seen Tim Roth's return as Abomination since then. Let me tell you, he's a completely different Abomination these days. Tim Roth's hilarious performance is definitely worth checking out on Disney+ though, and I seriously can't recommend checking it out enough! If you want to watch a low-stakes show that has sublime writing, She-Hulk: Attorney At Law is for you.
Since his return to the MCU, Tim Roth has, of course, been doing interviews since She-Hulk started airing. After all, everyone wants to hear his opinion on the MCU, since his return has been a long time in the making. It also sounds like he's having a blast on She-Hulk: Attorney At Law which is always awesome to hear! Most recently Roth sat down with Screen Rant where, amongst other things, he discussed his return to the MCU and what it was like watching it grow over the last decade.
Here's what Roth told Screen Rant about the MCU's growth.
"I have watched the evolution of [Marvel], because I loved what they did. I loved that they used comedy very early on. That's when they really nailed it, with Robert Downey Jr. That was great. I spend a lot of time traveling and sitting on a plane, or in a hotel room—luxury problems, right? But you want to take stuff with you that you will engage with; that will take you out of the clock for a while.
Deadpool was a perfect example of that. When they got it right, they really get it right. What Ryan Reynolds does, and those MCU actors do in that world, is quite extraordinary. I love watching it."
The mention of Deadpool is particularly interesting since Deadpool 3 will be the first film set in the MCU. In fact, Screen Rant asked Roth about a potential Abomination/Deadpool face off!
"Yeah, I could see that. I could definitely go for that."
You can watch the first four episodes of She-Hulk: Attorney At Law right now on Disney+! New episodes are added every Thursday!
