Get ready trainers, because we're getting some Pokémon news soon! Later this week the Pokémon Company is going to air a 20 minute Pokémon Presents, where we'll be getting some brand new Pokémon info. This comes on the heels of some major Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet leaks... so we may see those confirmed. Or it could be a 20 minute presentation on the Pokémon TCG game. Guess we'll find out soon.
I'm just teasing of course. They've confirmed, at the very least, that we'll see some updates in regards to Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet. Beyond that the official announcement only confirmed "video games" and Pokémon apps. What those apps are, we have no idea but can make some educated guesses. Pokémon TCG: Live is still missing, and maybe we'll get some Arceus DLC.

Surprisingly, we know very little about Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet despite the fact that they release in just a few short months. Some aforementioned leaks have come out but we have no idea if they're true yet. Only two trailers have come out so far, and usually, by this point, unless I'm mistaken, we've seen far more of the games than we have for these. Hopefully that means that Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet will be full of awesome surprises for long-term fans.
Dexit round 2, anybody?
I fully expect there to be some Pokémon GO and Pokémon Unite announcements, too. Pokémon Unite specifically is undergoing a big celebration because of its one year anniversary. Pokémon GO will undoubtedly see new Ultra Beasts coming after the recent release of Nihilego. Arceus DLC has been circulating as rumors for a while, but that could just be wishful thinking. However, the last few recent Pokémon games have mostly all gotten DLC.
Regardless, we only have to wait two days before learning the truth! I'll be there, ready to share all the exciting info with you guys.
The Pokémon Presents will take place on August 3rd at 6AM PT.
