I never would have guessed we would see the reveal of a new Hellboy game at the 2022 Game Awards. Hellboy: Web of Wyrd is a game being developed by Upstream Arcade. It’s a roguelite action adventure game set in the world of Hellboy, Mike Mignona’s universe. Upstream Arcade is also responsible for West of Dead which came out in 2019. 

Hellboy will be trying to recover a missing agent from the Bureau of Paranormal Research and Defense.You’ll head to some spooky places and kill some terrifying monsters while searching for this missing agent. You’ll be doing it all in an awesome, comic-book style art style, too. The game looks gorgeous in a way I’m not sure I’ve ever seen before.
