Peacemaker John Cena
Peacemaker Clip Reveals Why John Cena is Killing Again

Peacemaker, the HBO Max series, is almost here and I can't wait to see John Cena back in action as the titular Peacemaker. To be completely honest I wasn't sold on the character before I actually got to see The Suicide Squad for myself! After seeing the film, though, I have to admit I actually quite liked him. He was one of the highlights of The Suicide Squad for me. I knew the series was coming and was really confused when it looked like Peacemaker died, but luckily it was all a ploy. And by the end of the month Peacemaker will be back in action and killing again! The best part, though? We know why John Cena's killing again thanks to a clip revealed by HBO Max!

Here's the clip so that you guys can check it out for yourselves! It looks like Peacemaker is shaping up to be one hell of a good time.

It looks like Peacemaker won't be serving his full sentence after all, and will be leaving prison early. The Government still has some use they can get out of Peacemaker, and they intend on making full use of his skills. Peacemaker will be embarking on missions given to him by the U.S. Government, and he'll even be joined by some returning The Suicide Squad characters. Even Amanda Waller is back, which is funnier when you consider what happened to her during The Suicide Squad film. Hopefully, she doesn't get knocked out here too.

Fans aren't the only ones excited for HBO Max's Peacemaker. James Gunn has had an awesome time making the show, and can't wait for us to see it. It's been reported he's had a blast creating the DC Comics series!

When the series was first announced, Gunn said in a statement "Peacemaker is an opportunity to delve into current world issues through the lens of this superhero/supervillain/and world's biggest douchebag. I'm excited to expand The Suicide Squad and bring this character from the DC film universe to the full breadth of a series. And of course, to be able to work again with John, Peter, and my friends at Warner Bros. is the icing on the cake."
Cena sounds just as hyped too, adding "I have said before that it has been a tremendous honor and an incredible opportunity to be part of The Suicide Squad and to work with James on what is going to be a fantastic movie. I am unbelievably excited to have the chance to team up with him again for Peacemaker. We can't wait for fans to see this."

Peacemaker will hit HBO Max on January 13!
