Harley Quinn season three poster
New Harley Quinn Poster Is Adorable!

Harley Quinn season three is almost here, and I'm super stoked! It was one of my favorite DC Universe originals, and I know tons of other people enjoyed it as well. It was beautifully animated, really well written, consistently funny and had one of the best LGBTQ+ relationships I've seen in a television series. I feel like I've been waiting for season three forever! It certainly has been a while, but we're almost there... and the newest Harley Quinn season three poster is adorable.

Since season three will deal with Harley and Ivy's new relationship, it makes sense that the poster would highlight the two of them. The poster was posted to the official Harley Quinn Instagram, and it looks like fans love it. Harley and Ivy highlight the poster as they swing romantically in the center. Some of the side characters are scattered around the rest of the poster. Notably is Bane, who was one of the funniest characters of the first two seasons.

Season three will continue to bring some awesome guest-stars including James Gunn who will be voicing... himself! No idea how that will play out, but since he directed The Suicide Squad I'm sure it'll be damn funny. We also have Harvey Guillen as Nightwing, and Harley Quinn probably won't shy away from highlighting Nightwing's fat cake.

One thing fans won't have to worry about when Harley Quinn season three starts is whether or not Ivy and Harley would break up. Justin Halpern, the showrunner, promised the show wouldn't be focusing on that. Instead, it's more interested in having the two stick together and figure their relationship out as a team.

"When we were talking about where a third season could go, the first thing we both said is, 'We don't want to do a third season where it feels like the stakes are [whether] Harley and Ivy stay together. It's much more interesting to do a show about how you navigate these very different personalities being in a relationship. And what are the fun things that can come out of that? What are the outside influences that can make that relationship tough but without the stakes being, 'Are they going to break up? Are they not?' So yeah, if there's a third season, which I hope there will be, the stakes will not be, 'Are Harley and Ivy going to stay together?' They're a couple." Halpern told SYFY previously before we even knew season three was coming!

Harley Quinn is back on HBO Max on July 28th.
