Joker is, I think, one of the best DC film of all times. The movie was just... something else. Granted, all of that is my opinion, so your mileage may vary. It doesn't really need a sequel, if you ask me but by golly we're getting one anyway. Rumors have been circulating for some time now but Thursday was the first day of confirmations. Lady Gaga has officially come out and announced that she is involved in Joker: Folie A Deux. She will, reportedly, be playing Dr. Harleen Quinzel. Oh, the rumors also say that the film is going to be a musical.

The teaser she posted features the name of the film, a release date, and silhouettes of Joker and Harley dancing together. It's very short, but here it is anyway, since I'm sure you want to see it.

Alright, so it's the film a lot of fans didn't want but we're getting anyway. Since we are, people want to know what the deal is. Well, between some strong hints and recent rumors a picture begins to form. Starting with the name, Joker 2: Folie A Deux. Folie A Deux is a French term meaning madness of two (I knew speaking French would come in handy one day). It refers to a condition in which two close people share the same delusion. This could easily apply to Joker and Harley's relationship.

Almost nothing else is known, other than the musical rumor. We'll be able to confirm the validity given enough time, but for now it'll have to remain speculation. Still, it was an exciting day for Joker fans.
