DC's Stargirl
DC's Stargirl 3x01 Synopsis - "Frenemies — Chapter One: The Murder"

DC's Stargirl season 3 is inching ever closer, and I can't wait! Hopefully Warner Bros Discovery doesn't shelve the project the way they did to Batgirl, because that would really suck. It looks like everything is okay and ready to go, though! The CW just released the DC's Stargirl 3x02 synopsis, giving us our first taste of what will take place in the first episode! The episode is titled "Frenemies — Chapter One: The Murder" and will air on August 31st, 2022.

Back in season 2 DC's Stargirl introduced its most terrifying villain Eclipso, and beating him wasn't exactly a walk in the park. The villain outright destroyed the JSA in their first encounter. It wasn't even close! Still, good prevailed and by the end of the season we knew what the new subtitle for season 3 would be "frenemies".

What does that mean exactly? Well, the Crocks have moved in next to Stargirl (Brec Bassinger) and her family, which should make for an interesting dynamic. The aren't operating as villains anymore, though. Or so we're supposed to believe! Anything can happen, though!

The season as a whole is apparently going to revolve around a murder mystery - which makes sense when you see the episode title for season 3's first episode.

Here's the DC's Stargirl 3x01 synopsis for "Frenemies — Chapter One: The Murder" which will air of August 31st, 2022 on The CW.

"STARMAN IS BACK — With Starman (Joel McHale) back from the dead and her former super-villain enemies vowing to reform, Courtney (Brec Bassinger) is hopeful that there will finally be peace in Blue Valley.  But when The Gambler (guest star Eric Goins) arrives to town looking to make his own amends, the team find themselves at odds over whether he can be trusted.  Luke Wilson, Amy Smart, Yvette Monreal, Anjelika Washington, Cameron Gellman, Trae Romano, Meg DeLacy, Neil Hopkins, Joy Osmanski and Alkoya Brunson also star.  Andi Armaganian directed the episode written by Geoff Johns."

DC's Stargirl will be the only DC show airing on The CW this Fall and is only one of three DC shows that are still on the Network, though The Flash is ending with its ninth season.
