Batgirl: Michael Keaton Is Teasing His Batman!

Michael Keaton is teasing his Batman yet again for the upcoming Batgirl HBO Max film! We've seen all kinds of things pop up related to Keaton's Batman over the last little while. We've seen some photos pop up, and they even included Keaton himself. Now, there weren't official but they were still pretty awesome to see. We might see some official stuff sooner than later though! Keaton isn't exactly hiding his involvement in Batgirl and now he's teasing his Batman on Instagram. Sure, the picture doesn't amount to more than a shadow but... it's a pretty sick shadow! Every time something like this drops it just makes me more excited for Batgirl. And even more excited for The Flash film, which will also feature Michael Keaton as Batman alongside Ben Affleck. Yeah, it's shaping up to be an awesome year for DC Comics fans.

Like I said above, the picture is just the shadow of his suit and cowl but it's still worth checking out. That's why I'm putting it below!

Keaton previously discussed his return as Batman and why he's doing it on the Jess Cagle show. Here's what he had to say!

"When it came around again, first of all, I was getting curious about it. I thought, 'Boy, what would that be like?' And then, coincidentally, there were murmurs, and I got a call from Warner Bros. They wanted to talk to me about something and there was hints of Batman. It has to be good. There's no reason to do it if it's not good. It's not gonna really change anything. And I just jumped in and had fun. And why would you not? You know, I mean, director Andy Muschietti is fantastic, and he's really creative. I don't know. It's fun."

Keaton isn't the only suit and cowl that people have been excited to see. It wasn't that long ago that we saw Batgirl's suit from the upcoming film revealed! Fans were surprised to see her sporting her Batgirl of Burnside look, but overall the reception was overwhelmingly positive. I myself thought that Batgirl looked freaking awesome in that costume. Leslie Grace spoke about when she found out she was cast as Barbara Gordon to Entertainment Tonight, and the story is quite touching.

"Oh, man! It was a crazy shock. "I mean, obviously I had been auditioning. It was a whole process, you know? But it was just, like, mind-bending. It's still mind-bending to think about it, and we're about to embark on this insane journey. But I found out via Zoom, because COVID world. The directors and the studio were on, and they kind of try to make it a surprise. They tried to make it like I was doing a final test, and then they sent me an email saying, 'I'm Batgirl' and had me read it. And I was just like, 'I'm not reading that! I don't know what's happening right now!'"

Batgirl is coming... at some point in the future exclusively on HBO Max! Along with several other DC Comics shows and movies!
