A new season of anime is nearly upon us, which means now's the time to start figuring out what we want to watch! Well, one such anime I decided to check out just had a trailer released recently! So, just in case you guys don't know I thought I'd share it with all of you! The anime is called Shikimori's Not Just A Cutie and it looks pretty interesting. Normally this is not the kind of anime I'd rush to watch, but that's changed recently. After falling in love with My Dress-Up Darling I've decided to break out of my shell and try some brand new shows I might have skipped back in the day. This one looks like just the kind of anime to spread my wings to! Plus, the premise is vague enough that I don't know too much about it going in! All-in-all I'm stoked about the Shikimori's Not Just A Cutie trailer!

So, as I said above I'm not entirely sure what the entire anime is going to be about. The trailer gives us a little insight into the characters though! It seems like the main character, Izumi, is dating the pink-haired girl Shikimori. She appears to be quite cute and is definitely waifu material. In fact, I have this strange feeling that she might be the waifu of the Spring 2022 anime season. Don't ask me why it's just a sneaking suspicion I have! With that being said, it seems like the adorable Shikimori has a whole other side to her. Sometimes, instead of being cool, she becomes... cool!
So, the Shikimori's Not Just A Cutie trailer didn't tell us much, but it doesn't mean we can't be excited! It looks like it's going to be the perfect anime to wind down with after a long, hard week of work. Some of the people I've seen talking about it say it's incredibly cute and wholesome. Could this be the successor to My Dress-Up Darling? Doubtful, nothing will beat Marin Kitagawa! That doesn't mean I won't give Shikimori's Not Just A Cutie a shot though, and see where it takes me!
