Marin Kitagawa Blushing
My Dress-Up Darling Episode 5 Has Marin Kitagawa Blushing HARD

My Dress-Up Darling episode 5 was a crazy ride! We saw Marin Kitagawa and Wakana Gojou attend their first cosplay event together! It was actually their first cosplay event ever period! Marin had her cosplay debut as one of her favorite characters, Shizuku-Tan. She was a huge hit at the event too. She was approached almost immediately by someone looking to take her picture! A line formed almost immediately, and even though it was almost ruined by a sweaty escapade, it all ended well! The best part was at the end of the episode though, when Gojou made Marin blush HARD!

It's been established in My Dress-Up Darling that Gojou has some interesting connotations with calling something pretty or beautiful. It has a more special meaning to him than it does for most. That's what makes it so difficult for him to say. He says it very rarely, and it really has to come from the heart when he says it. Marin is well aware of this, which makes what happens on their train ride home that much more heartfelt.

During the train ride home Gojou is so exhausted that he starts falling asleep on the train. That's when, much to Marin's surprise, he says she looked beautiful in her cosplay. Gojou's admission to his use of that word rushes to the forefront of Marin's mind. Then, unable to help herself, her face turns completely tomato red!

It seems to me as though Gojou is already crushing pretty hard on Marin. That's not surprising. What might come as a surprise is that it looks like Marin is quite interested in her cosplay-maker too! Unfortunately, like most romantic anime, they're probably going to drag this out until the end of time. Still, it's nice to have something so wholesome when the last couple of years have been pretty garbage for a lot of people.

My Dress-Up Darling is only rising in popularity, and scenes like this will only help. People love cute couples and Marin and Gojou are quickly becoming the cutest couple of 2022. People love the anime so far as well. In fact, since the anime started the My Dress-Up Darling manga has sold over a million copies! Talk about an anime boost!
