My Hero Academia Monoma
Monoma May Be The Key To Stopping Shigaraki In My Hero Academia!

My Hero Academia had a new chapter released over the weekend, and man, things are heating up! The end is truly beginning here as the second war is in full swing. If you haven't read the last few My Hero Academia chapters, then this might not be the article for you, my friends! The newest chapter was My Hero Academia chapter 346 and it revealed the surprising star of the plan to take down Tomura Shigaraki! Naito Monoma might be the key to defeating Shigaraki, and no, this isn't some kind of joke! Still, with Deku MIA their plan hit something of a snag. Let me explain...

Before we go any further, I'll be discussing full spoilers for My Hero Academia chapter 346. If you don't want to know anything about the current state of My Hero Academia I suggest you turn back now. Alternatively, you can always catch up by reading the chapter over on Viz's official website. That's the end of the heads up!

Over the last few chapters, we've witnessed the heroes' plans come into play! The first step was luring All For One out, which worked beautifully. The villain was lured out and then caught completely off guard by the betrayal he suffered at the hands of Aoyama! He thought he had the upper hand, and brought forth his villains! He was certain capturing Deku would be no issue, as he showed up alone. Unfortunately for him, his day was about to be ruined.

It was right at this moment that the rest of the heroes showed up, ready for action. In a big twist, it was revealed what their plan actually was! Monoma was the star, as his quirk was used to copy Kurogiri's! That meant all of the heroes showed up at once, which led to the next phase of their plan! They locked all the villains up in a prison, which only lasted a few seconds but that was all they needed! Monoma used Kurogiri's quirk to separate all the villains and send a few of the heroes along with them! This was to put the heroes in a more advantageous position.

Now, unfortunately, Deku was dragged in with Himiko Toga which sort of messed up their plan, but it might not all be over yet!

Those who keep up with the manga will remember that back in the first war, Aizawa was key in keeping Shigaraki locked down. Well, we've known for some time that Aizawa would not be fighting some time around, but they're repeating that trick again anyway. How? Monoma, again! By remaining in constant contact with Aizawa, he can continue to use his erasure quirk. This means Monoma is going to be key in defeating Shigaraki, since locking his quirks down is incredibly important.

The real question now is whether or not the heroes can defeat Shigaraki without Deku! I, myself, am wondering what Himiko Toga has in store for Deku! Hopefully, we learn more when My Hero Academia chapter 347 releases in just a few days!
