Demon Slayer season 2 is over! After all the hype, all the excitement, and all the flashiness Demon Slayer season 2 went out with a bang and not a whimper! The Entertainment District arc was everything Demon Slayer fans could have hoped for! But, as these things go, everyone wanted to know right away... are we going to get season 3? Well, thankfully, and to no one's surprise, we are getting Demon Slayer season 3! There were some serious concerns raised on whether or not they would do the next arc as a movie. It is of a similar length to Mugen Train, after all. They're not, however, and I'm so happy I could cry. Especially since they would probably shove the movie back in our faces at the beginning of season 3. The Swordsmith Village arc will be aired as an anime arc as opposed to a movie, Thank God. They even released a poster along with the announcement, which reveals which Hashira will be a focus during the arc!

And... that's pretty much it. Nothing else was really revealed about Demon Slayer season 3. The confirmation will have to be enough for now, but I wasn't expecting anything beyond that. After all, Demon Slayer season 2 hasn't even been over for a day. No doubt more details will be released soon. If I remember correctly, I read somewhere that more Demon Slayer details would be revealed on February 20th. That's only six days away, so we shouldn't have to wait very long! Don't expect a trailer or anything yet, though! In fact, that doesn't even mean we'll get any news about the anime at all. It could be about a game, a movie, more manga... literally anything.

There is absolutely no word on a release date yet.
