Armin
Attack On Titan brings back a Fan Favorite Character!

Attack on Titan is in the middle of its final season, and things have officially hit their climax! Eren has gone full psychopath and is prepared to destroy the world to save his friends and fellow Eldians! And that's regardless of what they think of the situation. Eren officially activated the rumbling and sent his army of colossal Titans out to destroy the world. I guess that'll show them they shouldn't bully Paradis Island. Eren undoing the hardening of, well, everything had another effect that fans who don't read the manga may not have been expecting. Eren undoing the hardening and destroying the walls caused an unexpected character to return. That's right! If you don't want to know then you should probably stop reading here.

From this point on I'll be discussing spoilers for the newest Attack On Titan episode. So if you haven't caught up you should turn back now! Unless you don't care about spoilers of course!

So, as I said above, Eren's plan caused an old fan-favorite character to return, essentially from the dead! Come on, you know who I'm talking about! Annie is back, baby! She isn't looking too hot, though. When we see her, it was at the very end of the episode and she was on the ground out of breath. She was also covered in slime... what the hell did Armin do to her!? All joking aside, it's awesome to see Annie return! With that being said, it's doubtful the Female Titan could turn the tide of the war. I doubt she can do anything to Eren's Founding Titan.

Hopefully, the next episode deals with her fully and reveals what her intentions are. As someone who hasn't read the manga, I have no idea what Annie's plans could be! It's doubtful she would be on board with Eren's plan. That would see her home and family destroyed and killed. On the other hand, she isn't exactly in a position to do anything. She's also very much stuck in enemy territory so her options are limited.

But hey, let's ignore all that for now and just be happy that Annie is back!

Are you glad Annie is making her glorious comeback finally? Let me know on the Multiversal News social media, which are linked at the very bottom of this page.

Attack on Titan is currently airing on Funimation and Crunchyroll every Sunday!
