My Hero Academia is more intense than ever as we're well into the final arc now! Things are crazier than ever, and the fights we've been waiting for since the beginning are well underway. We've seen All For One engage the top heroes directly, and Shigaraki is wreaking more havoc than ever before with his terrifying new powers. But now, the war took a heartbreaking turn as My Hero Academia seemingly kills off one of its most popular characters.

From this point forward I'll be discussing some major spoilers for My Hero Academia chapter 362. This includes the big death. If you don't want it spoiled for yourself, you're better off turning back now. In fact you shouldn't even have clicked on this! If you don't care, though, read on!

So, as we all know by now Bakugo took some serious damage when he attacked Shigaraki. His body was severely damaged, and it didn't look like he'd be recovering anytime soon. That didn't stop him from jumping right back in the fight. He tells Best Jeanist to take care of everyone before unleashing one more desperation attack.

He boosts himself by using his quirk in a strange new way. It seems like, as far as I can tell, he accumulates his sweat inside his glands and explodes them inside of himself to boost his speed. He's even able to dodge one of Shigaraki's attacks and get the drop on him. In the end, it's all for nothing though.

After a heartbreaking vision of him asking All Might for his autograph, his heart seemingly explodes leaving Bakugo dead and gone. That's right, it looks like the fight with Shigaraki has claimed its first victim, and this time it was Bakugo.

Fans are wondering if he's really dead though? After all, in Shonen anime you never know what could happen. In a few chapters Bakugo could get up, stronger than ever. We just have no way of knowing, so for now we have to assume Bakugo is dead. If he went out, he did it on his own terms and got a heroic death trying to stop Shigaraki.

Now we just have to wait for Izuku to show up and see Kacchan's lifeless body. I don't think Shigaraki's ready for what'll come when that happens.
