Xenoblade Chronicles 3 was one of the biggest and best JRPGs of the year! It wasn't really surprising since the Xenoblade games have been, generally, pretty fantastic. The first Xenoblade Chronicles game is a masterpiece, the second one was alright and now the third one was between the two in quality. And now Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is going to get even bigger and some DLC has been detailed for the Switch exclusive JRPG.

Nintendo revealed details for the second wave of Xenoblade Chronicles 3 DLC during the September 2022 Nintendo Direct. It was a really big show that saw a ton of exciting announcements. This was the only Xenoblade one though. Sorry guys, no Xenoblade Chronicles 4 yet! We can dream, though!

Wave 2 of the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 DLC will bring a brand new mecha hero named Ino! They revealed a hero for the trailer during the presentation along with the promise of another hero in wave 3! That's a whole lot of new heroes!

According to the trailer, if you complete her quests you get to have her join your party! It'll, allegedly, expand your options for jobs and battle strategies. This wave of DLC will also feature challenge battles, for those looking to defeat some difficult enemies and win some rewards. You can even unlock some swimsuits for the main characters!

If you're worried you'll be waiting a while to get your hands on Ino, you'd be wrong! Wave 2 of the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 expansion pass is releasing on October 13, 2022. That's only about a month away!

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 wasn't the only JRPG they talked about at the show! Octopath Traveler 2 was announced alongside more information on The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and the reveal of Fire Emblem Engage. The Switch is about to get overloaded with JRPG goodness.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 expansion pass wave 2 comes out before all of that. Don't forget to snag yourself Ino for your party when it releases on October 13, 2022.
