Triangle Strategy
Triangle Strategy Gets New Demo and Trailer Following Nintendo Direct

Triangle Strategy is almost here and Nintendo is really hyping us up now with less than a month to go! We've had several trailers and even gotten a chance to play the game with a demo Nintendo is doubling down and going all out! At the latest Nintendo Direct on Wednesday, we got a brand new trailer, but that's not all! There's also a new demo released as well. This isn't your average demo either. This demo includes the demo and the first three chapters. I'm unclear on whether or not the first three chapters are available right or away or when the game launches. What I do know is that regardless of when those chapters become available in the demo, progress will carry over to the full game. That means you can get a head start on your Triangle strategy journey!

That trailer I mentioned earlier? Here it is, for your viewing pleasure.

Triangle Strategy is going to be the latest game in the new HD-2D games trend. This HD-2D trend has hit several JRPG's including other Square Enix releases. For example, a Dragon Quest remake is coming later on and it will be in this style, which is pretty exciting. As I said above, the demo is available now and I'm pretty sure it's just the prologue for now. You can find out for sure for yourself though since the demo is on the Nintendo E-Shop right now.

Here is the official description from Nintendo

The tactical RPG TRIANGLE STRATEGY is almost here, and a new demo that lets you play from Chapter 1 to the end of Chapter 3 is available now in Nintendo eShop. Save data from the demo can be transferred to the full game once purchased. The protagonist Serenoa and his allies will be engulfed in the conflict among the three nations.

What's funny about this is the demo released last year was actually really long. If each chapter of the demo is that long this demo might end up being the length of a full game. Okay, probably not but that's still quite a lot of playtime. It should give players a good idea of whether or not they're willing to invest in the full game. I know I am, got my pre-order at Gamestop and everything!

Triangle Strategy is out in a few weeks on March 4th.
