Reverse-Flash
The Flash Star Hints at Reverse-Flash Returning

The Flash has been through a number of changes over the last few years. It was one of the numerous shows hit during the Covid-19 pandemic which is still going on at the time of this writing. Not only did the season that aired during the pandemic suffer, but since then The Flash has lost several cast members. One of the most notable ones, however, is none other than Tom Cavanagh. He left the show as a series regular, meaning The Flash no longer has a different Harrisson Wells every season. That's okay since Cavanagh is obviously more than interested in coming back from time to time to the show. He was just recently in The Flash's Armageddon event, which saw what could be the final confrontation between The Flash and the Reverse-Flash. Now, that seems unlikely since a The Flash star is teasing Tom Cavanagh's return to The Flash. Jesse. L Martin, who plays Joe West, revealed this when he talked to Screen Rant recently!

"Everybody who is a fan of Tom Cavanagh and his Reverse-Flash... get ready." is what Martin had to say.

This is interesting, especially when you consider where The Flash left Eobard Thawne when we saw him at the end of Armageddon. By the end of the event, the Reverse-Flash no longer had his powers and was turned over to Argus custody. Theoretically, as of right now, Eobard Thawne shouldn't pose a threat to anyone. Could Thawne already be working on a plan to get his speed back? That seems likely. There's another piece of the puzzle to consider as well, and that's the fact that Rick Cosnett is coming back to The Flash for a few episodes of this season. Could that have something to do with Thawne returning? I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

This isn't that surprising, since fans always expected Reverse-Flash to turn back up sooner or later. At the very least, by the time The Flash is airing its final season, it makes sense that Reverse-Flash would return as a full-fledged villain. He is Barry Allen's biggest threat and most personal nemesis. I think fans just weren't expecting to possibly have him come back so soon. Though, I should also remind people that Martin's comments in no way indicate when or how Reverse-Flash would be returning! So maybe it's not coming up anytime soon at all, this is just speculation right now for fun! It'll still be fun to see how it all plays out!

I know I'll be looking forward to it since Reverse-Flash has always been my favorite villain on The CW's The Flash!  Until then we can all speculate together though if you head over to the Multiversal News Facebook and Twitter! I'd love to hear all your The Flash theories! You can even check out my personal Twitter and catch me there! @LittleHandAlex!

The Flash will be back on The CW on March 9th!
