The Flash 8x15 Synopsis Released - "Into The Still Force"

The CW has released The Flash 8x15 synopsis for the episode titled "Into The Still Force" which will air on Wednesday, May 18th, 2022 only on The CW! The episode is going to come after some seriously heartbreaking episodes. Or at least that's the suspicion. Team Flash is currently dealing with Deathstorm, who they thought was originally their dead friend Ronnie Raymond (Robbie Amell). Next week's May 4th episode will have a big death and the week following that's episode is titled "Funeral For A Friend" so... things aren't looking good, are they? There is some good news though, as this synopsis gives us something to look forward to... the return of Nora Allen (Jessica Parker Kennedy)! It's always nice to see XS make a return, as long as it's not in... excess.

I'm sorry.

At any rate, here's The Flash 8x15 synopsis!

EP ERIC WALLACE DIRECTS – The Flash (Grant Gustin) gets an assist from XS (guest star Jessica Parker Kennedy). Meanwhile, CCPD enlists Chester (Brandon McKnight) for help when a mysterious device is found at a crime scene. The series also stars Jesse L. Martin, Candice Patton, Danielle Panabaker, Danielle Nicolet and Kayla Compton. Executive Producer and Showrunner Eric Wallace directed the episode written by Lauren Barnett & Christina M. Walker.

There aren't many episodes of The Flash left now, not for this year at least. Even though The Flash was renewed for a ninth season, we weren't sure if it would be for a while, there. Eric Wallace, showrunner, planned ahead. When speaking with Entertainment Weekly previously, he mentioned this.

"I have to do both. I've known what the ending was for a few years now. We're coming to the end of a three-year master plan that I've had with the show at seasons 6, 7, and 8. But the actual ending-ending, I have to write two endings, because I don't know what the future holds. I know what I'm hoping for. I'm very hopeful there is a season 9, but I have to make sure I have closure on all the character arcs depending on which way it goes. But then I also have to film a tag or a teaser that potentially sets up another year. So, it's a challenge, but it's one that we love doing as writers. It's made it even more interesting and more intense, but I think it's going to be worth it."

The Flash airs on Wednesdays on The CW and "Into The Still Force" is expected to air on May 18th, 2022!
