The Supergirl 6x15 photos have been released by The CW. These photos are for the episode titled "Hope For Tomorrow" and will air on October 12 on The CW. Though, if you miss it that night it's not a big deal. You can always catch it the next day on The CW's website for free. Which I gotta admit is pretty awesome. It looks like the fight with Nyxly will continue, according to the synopsis which I'll include before the photos. Kara's entire group is going to be busy this episode, it looks like. This week brings us closer to the Supergirl finale. This is the last season of Supergirl, so be prepared for an emotional finale. I think, anyway...
Enough about all that though. Let's start by checking out the synopsis for "Hope For Tomorrow'.
NYXLY KIDNAPS WILLIAM - Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) continues to fight Nyxly (Peta Sergeant) for the remaining totems but after Nyxly kidnaps William (Staz Nair), Supergirl realizes she needs to take a more proactive stance to keep National City safe. Meanwhile, Alex (Chyler Leigh) faces the biggest challenge of her life. The episode was directed by Tawnia McKiernan with story by Robert Rovner and teleplay by Emilio Ortega Aldrich & Nicki Holcomb.
Benoist put out a statement when it was revealed the show was ending. She spoke about what it meant to be playing this character. “To say it has been an honor portraying this iconic character would be a massive understatement. Seeing the incredible impact the show has had on young girls around the world has always left me humbled and speechless. She’s had that impact on me, too. She’s taught me strength I didn’t know I had, to find hope in the darkest of places, and that we are stronger when we’re united. What she stands for pushes all of us to be better. She has changed my life for the better, and I’m forever grateful. I’m so excited that we get to plan our conclusion to this amazing journey, and I cannot wait for you to see what we have in store. I promise we’re going to make it one helluva final season.”
