Lena Luthor from Supergirl portrayed by Katie McGrath
Supergirl 6x14 Synopsis "Magical Thinking"! Magical Lena is Magical!

The Supergirl 6x14 synopsis has been released by The CW, as they always tend to do. This gives us an idea of what we can expect from this upcoming episode of Supergirl. The episode is titled "Magical Thinking" and has a lot going on. At least, that's how the synopsis reads to me when I checked it out. This is the episode that will be airing on October 5th, and will bring us one step closer to the final episode ever. Supergirl and her squad will continue to deal with Nyxly who escaped from the Phantom Zone with Kara and her father. Kara's group and Nyxly are racing to get the totems, something Nyxly is doing to become essentially unstoppable. She wants revenge on her father, but Kara has no intention of letting that happen.

Of course, as usual, we'll see more than that going on in the episode. Lena has some magical powers, and we'll be seeing more of that. Lena will be dealing with the reveal that her mother was actually a witch. William will appear, and he's trying to write a story on the Super Friends but it doesn't seem to be going well. Finally, we'll be seeing more of Kelly, too. As we all know, Kelly has been helping some children from a group home lately. All of this, and probably more, will be going down on October 5th only on The CW.

Azie Tesfai, the actress who portrays Kelly, has been incredibly vocal about her love for social workers. In fact, social workers have been a huge inspiration to her. She said so herself when she spoke to ComicBook.com! This was all the way back in August, and you should check out what else she had to say over on ComicBook.com. They do some awesome work. I want to thank them for letting me use the quote below. Here's what Azie Tesfai had to say back in August.

"I'm so inspired by social workers, period. But, for Kelly, it's a combination of what I've always felt with her superpowers, that she's incredibly empathetic to everyone no matter who they are, no matter where they come from. And I think that's what makes her such an incredible social worker and what will make her such an incredible superhero, is that she just has this beautiful way of seeing people for who they are and who they can become, and gently helping them on that journey. And I admire her so much for that."

You probably want to read the synopsis for yourself, though. I'm going to put it just below here so you can check it out, too! Let's all give The CW a big thank you for teasing us with what's to come.

LENA MUST ACCEPT HER NEWFOUND POWERS IN ORDER TO HELP THE SUPER FRIENDS - Lena (Katie McGrath) is uncertain about using her magical abilities to help Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) retrieve the second totem from Nyxly (Peta Sergeant). William (Staz Nair) struggles to write a story on the Super Friends that makes both the heroes and Andrea (Julie Gonzalo) happy. Meanwhile, Kelly (Azie Tesfai) is thrilled Esme (guest star Mila Jones) has found a new home, but things go awry and the little girl's future is put in danger.

Make sure you tune in to The CW on October 5th at 9/8c to catch "Magical Thinking", the fourteenth episode of season six of Supergirl!
