For those who have finished going through all the content in Strangers Of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin, there is good news for you! Square Enix and Team Ninja have confirmed that the second piece of DLC, "Wanderers Of The Rift" is releasing sooner rather than later. The new piece of DLC will join "Trials Of The Dragon King" on October 26th, 2022.

"Fight your way through the Labyrinth of Dimensions, a dungeon that randomly configures your path to unlock pieces of the story. “Wanderer of the Rift” will introduce a new job, Blue Mage, and special monsters you can fight and summon into battle with the use of a Summoning Stone.

In addition to new equipment that unlocks new abilities, a new class of enemies called “Chaotic Monsters” will be added to give the player a more diverse and challenging experience."

Alright, so there are a few interesting things there! For starters, fan favorite Final Fantasy character Gilgamesh joins the game! He's obviously the wanderer of the rift that the title of the DLC refers to. That's what he's known for, so it's not exactly a surprise! Still, seeing him join Strangers Of Paradise is an exciting proposition. Especially now that we've battled Bahamut and the Warrior Of Light.

One surprising addition is the addition of the Blue Mage job! For those who aren't Final Fantasy fans, Blue Mage is one of the most unique jobs in the franchise! They copy the abilities of monsters, learning them and then being able to use them whenever they wish. For example, in Final Fantasy XIV Online, you can often find parties fighting certain bosses to acquire Blue Mage spells. I have no idea how the gameplay will translate to Strangers Of Paradise, but I'm excited to find out!
