Nintendo and the Pokemon Company aren't done with the Hisui region yet! Pokemon Legends: Arceus was immensely successful for the company and fans love the new take on the Pokemon games. The game was fun, but in my opinion just not what I was looking for. Call me a purist, but it's Red and Blue all the way for me, baby! With that being said, I did have a good deal of fun with Legends: Arceus anyway! Legends: Arceus' success is why it wasn't much of a surprise when a web anime was announced to tie into the game. The series will take place in the Hisui region as well, and now there's a poster for the new Pokemon anime!
The poster is gorgeous and also reveals the name of the upcoming anime along with a release date for the series! The official title is Pokemon: Hisuian Snow and it looks like it will start airing this May. That's not very far at all! It's expected to have three episodes but some fans are already hoping the Pokemon Company decides to extend it for a few more episodes! Is it possible? Sure, anything is if the fandom loves it enough. For now, let's just hope the first episode is as amazing as everyone is hoping for.
The series is about a boy named Alex whose entire world changes after he has a significant encounter with a Pokemon. We don't know what his previews views on Pokemon are, or what this encounter's going to be but at least we don't have to wait much longer to find out!
