Unless you're living under a rock, you've undoubtedly heard about Amber Heard and her ongoing legal issues with Johnny Depp. People have been following the case especially closely ever since they returned to court. People's issues lie mainly with the fact that there are heaps of evidence that reveal Amber Heard as a domestic abuser, yet she suffered no consequences. Johnny Depp on the other hand has lost pretty much everything and had his reputation forever tarnished. For the record, he was dropped from his Warner Bros. films while Amber Heard remains attached to Aquaman 2, being made by the same company. DC fans have been angry about this ever since it became apparent Amber Heard wasn't going anywhere. Now, a petition to get her removed from the film has passed over 2 million signatures.

That's a lot of people who want Amber Heard off the project!

So, what are the odds of it happening? To be completely honest, I wouldn't hold my breath. Even with the delay of Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom I can't see them removing her. If they didn't bother before I don't see any reason that would change now. It also seems like Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment have dug their own graves. They've stood by her all this time and unless Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom really will be affected, it's unlikely anything will change. People talk big about boycotting the film, but the reality is that only a few people will actually do so. Tons of people loved the first Aquaman, after all. It grossed over $1 billion.

We can still hope, though. Anything can happen and maybe if Johnny Depp kicks her ass in court, it could push Warner Bros. to take some kind of action. Also, with the recent Discovery merger, it's entirely possible they don't want to deal with any of this garbage. Perhaps they have the authority to make the decision to just... yeet her out of the DC universe. After all, the DC universe would be a much better place without her. As would the real world.
