My Hero Academia season 6 Deku art
My Hero Academia Season 6 OVA Images Revealed

My Hero Academia is currently gearing up for an exciting sixth season. We can expect the season to be one hell of a war, with the heroes taking the fight to the Paranormal Liberation Front. Those who know where the show is going are more excited than they were for any of the previous seasons. Assuming the animation issues get fixed up a little, after all the drama surrounding My Villain Academia, this could be the best season of My Hero Academia so far. The anime is the adaptation of the manga by Kohei Horikoshi and the manga just recently entered its final act. Before we reach season 6, though, we'll be treated to two brand new OVA's! One will feature a baseball match with all of our favorite characters. The second OVA will be about Deku, Bakugo, and Todoroki's time at the Endeavor agency. Some images have been released, the first ones as far as I'm aware! Let's check them out.

Here are the photos, which have been spread across Twitter.

Very little is known about this upcoming OVA. We learned the villain is someone named Mr. Smiley, and though it doesn't sound very scary we should hold off judgment for now. After all, in one of the images Deku looks injured. We have to assume Mr. Smiley injured him. Either that or Bakugo finally got sick of Deku and blew his freaking head off.

Unfortunately, there is no release date for this second OVA. The first one is a little different though. The baseball OVA for My Hero Academia will premiere at Anime Expo in July. We don't have an official release date for the second OVA, but we can make some educated guesses. My Hero Academia season 6 is set to premiere this October. The OVA will, in all likelihood, air before that. I haven't been able to find any details about where we, in North America, can watch it. However, if Crunchyroll is doing a premiere this summer I'm under the assumption that we'll be able to catch them both on Crunchyroll before season 6 starts Airing.

It'll be nice to have a couple of lighthearted special episodes before things get serious this October. For the anime-only watchers, be careful of spoilers. You don't want to ruin one of the best arcs in My Hero Academia.

My Hero Academia season 6 will air this October. Both of the special OVA's should air sometime before that, presumably on Crunchyroll.
