Morbius
Morbius Delayed Again and that Sucks

Today is a sad day for Morbius fans. Those looking forward to the Sony film starring the titular vampire will have to wait a little longer to see it. The film was originally supposed to come out near the end of the month on January 28 2022, but will instead release on April 1, 2022. And this is no joke. At the very least I can't find anyone who's laughing. The Morbius film, starring Jared Leto, is something fans have been looking forward to for quite some time now. The trailers released thus far have made the film look like something that could be really fun to watch. Even though the delay sucks (haha) hopefully the wait is worth it. So, yeah... Morbius is delayed again and now we just have to live with it.

So, as most people waiting for Morbius will know this isn't the first time the film has been delayed. Over the last couple of years, the film has been delayed several times. If we're lucky this will be the final delay, and April will finally bring us the Morbius film fans have been waiting for. Little is known about the film, including whether or not it takes place in the MCU. That whole situation is even messier when you consider the events of the recent Spider-Man: No Way Home. There have been some teases about that, though!

In some of the previous trailers, it was possible to see Spider-Man graffiti in one of the shots. The most interesting part about that though is the graffiti didn't look like Tom Holland's Spider-Man. No, it looked more like Tobey Maguire's. This contradicts something else we saw in the trailer since those trailers directly showed a character from the MCU Spider-Man films. We saw Michael Keaton's Vulture in one of the trailers, and he seemed to be talking directly to Morbius in some way? It's possible, but we won't know until April now.

Let's keep our heads up, the delay is only a few months. If you're that angry about it though why don't you come tell me over on the Multiversal News Facebook and Twitter accounts! You can find links for them at the very bottom of this page.

Meanwhile, I'll see you guys on April 1st to check out Morbius.
