The Flash John Wesley Shipp
Check Out Pictures of John Wesley Shipp on DC's Stargirl as The Flash!

The Flash will soon be on DC's Stargirl, and man, he looks awesome! The not quite a crossover episode is almost here, which brings John Wesley Shipp's Scarlet Speedster over to DC's Stargirl. This isn't Shipp's first rodeo as the fastest man alive. He portrayed The Flash in the original live-action series many, many years ago. He was also Barry Allen's dad in the current The Flash series on The CW which takes place in the Arrowverse. He also plays Jay Garrick, another version of The Flash, over on that show as well. So Shipp is extremely well versed in The Flash! Now he's adding DC's Stargirl to his resume as he joins that show as Jay Garrick as well! Is this the same version of Jay Garrick from The Flash? It's possible! Now we've seen some photos of his episode, courtesy of Entertainment Weekly, and they're awesome! You can check them out further below.

Shipp will be appearing in "Summer School: Chapter Nine" as a member of the JSA. This will all be taking place in a flashback episode, based on a few things. It seems like Pat will have the original fight with Eclipso on his mind. I hope that doesn't mean this version of The Flash died, or something. That would be super disappointing. I'd love to see Shipp's Jay Garrick meet this new, younger version of the Justice Society of America. I think he'd be quite proud of what they've accomplished. Even if they've been getting their butts kicked by Eclipso lately.

Still, it's not just me, and other fans, who are excited to see Shipp as Jay Garrick again! Shipp is just as excited as we are to make his appearance on DC's Stargirl. At least, that's what he said when he talked to ComicBook.com back in February! The following quotes come directly from that Interview, and I highly recommend checking them out.

Here's what Shipp said about his time filming for DC's Stargirl.

"Amazing. Amazing. I've got to tell you, I had the best time in Atlanta shooting with that cast. People must watch it. It debuts on August 10th. This show has so much energy and depth and heat and excitement around it at the moment. It has that new show...everybody is a hundred percent invested. We really want this thing to work. Geoff Johns was on set the entire time I was there. Our wonderful director. The ability to work with Luke Wilson, to work with Lou Ferrigno Jr., to create the JSA, I found myself in my own history. You know what I mean?"

He went on to say afterward, "I tell you, as excited as I am for people to see The Flash finale, I'm equally excited for people to... don't wait for my episode because everybody knows I'm in the ninth episode. Start watching the first episode of Stargirl, August 10th."

Well, I did tune into DC's Stargirl and have been watching it every week since. And honestly? I think season two blows season one out of the water, and I'm left waiting for the new episode impatiently every week.

You can check out DC's Stargirl too! That is if you tune into The CW every Tuesday!

Here are the photos, and thanks again to Entertainment Weekly for revealing them! These aren't all the photos, just three of them! Check out the Entertainment Weekly reveal to see the rest of them. It's worth it!
