Black Adam may not have been the greatest movie ever, but it’s still worth a watch. If only because of Dwayne Johnson’s decent performance as the titular Black Adam. I know a lot of people haven’t seen the film yet - the box office numbers reveal as much - but if you wait until next week, the film will be hitting HBO Max.

That’s right! Black Adam will hit HBO Max on December 16, 2023. That means anyone with a current HBO Max subscription will be able to check out DC’s latest flop. It feels bad typing that, but with the sweeping changes going on, it might be accurate.

It really is too bad. Black Adam wasn’t my favorite DC film but I truly felt with a few tweaks a sequel where Black Adam and Superman go head-to-head could have really been something special. It’s looking increasingly likely that won’t happen, however.
